Dom Diff is a Firefox plugin based on the plugin PageDiff by Khadir Abdul.
Dom Diff compares 2 web pages and shows the differences between 2 pages. It helps web developers and designers to see HTML-structure differences between web pages. It doesn't take original page source. It takes browser generated DOM and omits text in between HTML-tags and some HTML-attribute values ( for example scr="../this/value/gets/removed.jpg" ).
Use the download link to save a copy of the extension to your local file system or directly install the application directly in your Firefox browser.
After installation, to use this, one has to:
- Right click on a page & select 'Start DIFF' (this action saves the current page to memory),
- Go to the page which one wants to compare (with the saved one) and
- Right click on the page & select 'Show DIFF'
